Position Summary:
Envisage Information Systems, is looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team. In this position you will be part of a team engaged in the creation, maintenance, and implementation of new and existing code as required for client requests, enhancements, and suggestions for improvements to existing code. This is a full-time, salaried position with good benefits, and a fantastic work environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Envisage team, management, and client as needed for all issues that arise during the development process or system change.
- Maintain communication and alert technical lead developer and management with regard to client related concerns.
- Create well structured, well commented code with consideration for future code maintenance and overall program performance.
- Understanding the infrastructure, processes, and procedures of the organization relating to software development.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to the technical lead and management.
- Provide input and participate in the creation of program designs.
- Continually strive to learn new technologies and development technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Analytical skills and an attention to detail.
- Two or more years of relational database experience (SQL, Data System, SQL server, Java).
- Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.
