Fabasoft Folio Workflow Solution Goes Live at EPIC Advisors
Fabasoft Folio allows EPIC Advisors, Inc. to automatically track and process contribution files
Fabasoft, a leading manufacturer of enterprise content management and business process management platforms, provides the platform for a semi-automated workflow solution at EPIC Advisors, Inc.
The workflow solution tailored to EPIC’s specific requirements for processing inbound payroll (contribution) files more efficiently has been designed and implemented by Envisage Information Systems of Genoa, NY, a partner company of Fabasoft in close cooperation with Fabasoft Corporation, which is headquartered near Boston, MA.
Rules based workflows allow for automated routing of files containing retirement contribution data into the retirement recordkeeping system. The workflows automatically adjust for holding periods, manual interventions, routing to specialists to handle exceptions and validation of results prior to issuing trade orders. In the future, EPIC plans on expanding the use of workflows to handle such transactions as distribution processing and plan takeovers.
Envisage Information Systems designed and implemented the workflow solution for EPIC using Fabasoft Folio in conjunction with the Envisage Remote Data Connectors which provide seamless access into various industry standard recordkeeping systems.
