Online Education Specialists Hook Up with Schwab RT
Tony Mingo is integrating vWise‘s offerings in to 401(k) recordkeeping software. The vWise president confirmed that he’s finished tying the firm’s SmartPlan online, video-based, interactive participant education system to Schwab RT, and he plans to link in soon to SunGard Relius, too.
Mingo confided that Steff McGonagle‘s Envisage Systems is helping vWise with the Relius integration.
vWise first launched SmartPlan 401 last summer for ING 401(k) client Harrah’s Entertainment, and followed that up with a private-label version of the program for Alliance Benefit Group (see The 401kWire, 7/10/2008 and 10/9/2008). And earlier this year, vWise launched its customizable SmartPlan Advisor product (see The 401kWire, 2/3/2009).
Watch for Mingo to cement more partnerships in the months to come.
